Premium-level subscribers will have a device with a backup battery. This allows the device to communicate its status and location when not connected to the vehicle for a short duration after losing power for one last GPS Tracking Ping before going offline.
If a battery-powered Zubie Device is unplugged:
1. Users subscribed to device alerts will receive a "Zubie Device Unplugged" alert. (These alerts can be enabled or disabled based on user configuration - see Add Users to your Account)
2. From the live map, you can quickly see a list of all disconnected devices using a filter, as shown
3. Select the vehicle and click TRACK DEVICE.
4. The Disconnected Device Location window will show the last reported location of the device, along with a history showing date, time, and location of previous locations reported while disconnected.
When the device is plugged back in, subscribed users will receive a "Zubie Device Reconnected" alert.
